Dog and Puppy Practice Sessions - Contra Costa and Alameda County

Dog training classes The Dog Squad runs weekly Practice Sessions at community parks which are open to our clients at no charge. The sessions are not obedience classes designed to teach commands. The purpose of the Public Practice Sessions is for dog owners to proof and practice in a real world environment, the obedience skills they have already taught their dog.

We have four locations to serve Alameda and Contra Costa County. Civic Park in Walnut Creek serves Orinda, Moraga, Lafayette, Pleasant Hill, Alamo, Blackhawk, Concord and Martinez. Delucchi Park in Pleasanton serves Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon, Danville and Livermore. The Marina in San Leandro serves Castro Valley, Hayward, Fremont, Newark, Union City, San Lorenzo and Oakland. Lake Temescal in Oakland serves Piedmont, Berkeley, Albany, El Cerrito, Kensington, Richmond, El Sobrante, Pinole and Hercules.

Practice Sessions start promptly so please try to arrive as close to start time as possible. If you are running late take a walk around the park as we are usually near by. Practice usually start with a group walk and we do not stay in the same place for the session. If you don't see us at the meeting place then look for us in the Park.

Announcements

Session Changes: Rain Cancellation Saturday 3/31/12 at Pleasanton. No Class on Easter Sunday April 8, 2012. No Class on Mother's Day Sunday May 13th.

Please note that some major changes are occurring with the Class Schedule:

Starting Saturday October 1st we will be rotating between Civic Park Walnut Creek and Delucchi Park Pleasanton on an every other weekend basis. The class time will also change to 10 AM.
On October 2nd the Sunday Lake Temescal Class will change it's time to 10 AM.

Please check Calendar for weekly locations and times.

Starting in July, I will be taking off the 3rd weekend of the month, unless otherwise stated.
